SPHERE REFITS STUDIO 2 MONITORING

Sphere Studios has recently completed a major refit of Studio 2 monitoring by replacing the original Munro C4 Monitors with an M4 based 5.1 Monitor system.

The refit also allowed the repositioning of the plasma screen, a welcome move by the film music users as the screen was originally placed above the centre speaker.

Recent users of Studio 2 have included the Fron Male voice choir, Guy Farley and Aled Jones, all of whom have enjoyed the changed feel of the room.

Francesco Cameli comments "We were concerned about retro fitting the M4s and loosing the open feel of the room, however the M4s appear to have given us more space behind the desk and closer compatibility with our Studio 1 monitoring which everyone really wanted".
